Spam Emails / Backlisted
If it is discovered through investigation that a client is sending a high number of spam emails from one of their domain emails and the email is blacklisted. The customer account (website and emails accounts) will be terminated and removed from our server without refund. Spam emails usually cause a server to be blacklisted and affect all accounts on the server.
If your email is blacklisted by error, we can look into this and try our best to help you resolve it for you.
How do I set up my Email on my Computer, Tablet or Phone?
When you access an email account through a desktop email application such as Outlook, or MacMail, the email application will require specific information about your email account. If Utilising your mail clients automatic setup fails, you can use the below to manually setup the account.
We recommend setting up emails as POP on your devices. When using IMAP a copy of all the emails are stored on the server in your webmail.yourdomainname account and take up space quickly. If using IMAP you may find you will need to log-in to your webmail.yourdomainname account and delete your emails regularly to save space.
If you are using IMAP the emails will be in the cPanel email account and will stay in there until you are logged in, then the system sends them to your mail client.
If you're using POP, the emails will go to the mail client that is already logged in.
You can also log-in to email account/s via your cPanel > Webmail (see Tutorial on how to log-in to your webmail via cpanel..)

IMAP - Good if you have lots of disk space!
Email access coordinates between the server and your mail application. Messages that you have read, deleted, or replied to will show up as such, both on the server and in the mail application.
POP3 - Good to save space and store on own PC!
Does not coordinate with the server. Messages that the mail application marks as read, deleted, or replied to will not show up as such on the server. This means that future mail downloads with POP3 will show all messages as unread.
Important Notes:
The system requires a username and password for both inbound and outbound
If using SSL, you must accept the SSL certificate, even if a warning appears.
The system uses SMTP to send outgoing mail.
